A useful menu announcement gives guests a reason to look and the details needed to order. Name what changed, describe the dish plainly, and state the start date and service availability. Use the launch-day version only once the menu, prices and ordering links are ready.

Order through [ordering method] and collect at [pickup location]. Please use the current pickup menu for availability and prices.
Confirm the start date, serving hours and participating location before announcing the launch.
Describe verified ingredients and preparation. Do not add unverified dietary or allergen-free claims.
Check that the linked menu shows the current price and the same dish names used in the announcement.
State whether the new items are dine-in only, available for pickup, or offered through delivery too.
When replacing an older menu, update outdated links and signs so guests do not order from a retired version.
Give guests details they can act on
Lead with the actual change: a new dish, a seasonal selection, or newly available pickup. 'Exciting news' alone leaves guests guessing. Add a short description of what the dish contains rather than unsupported claims such as 'the healthiest in town.' If the announcement includes a price, specify which portion or bundle it covers. Keep a working menu link in online versions. On a printed sign, use a readable menu location or ask guests to see the current menu at the counter.
