A holiday notice should answer three questions before a guest leaves home: which date is affected, which service is available, and when normal hours return. Use the closed-day version for a full break, the reduced-hours version for an early finish, or the service-specific version when the kitchen and pickup counter follow different schedules.

HOLIDAY HOURS
[Restaurant] will be closed on [month and date] for [holiday]. Dine-in and pickup will both be unavailable.
We reopen on [month and date] at [time]. Thank you for planning your visit with us.
SPECIAL HOURS — [MONTH AND DATE]
[Restaurant] is open from [opening time] to [closing time]. Our kitchen will take its last orders at [last order time].
Regular hours resume on [month and date]. Thank you for your understanding.
HOLIDAY PICKUP AT [RESTAURANT]
On [month and date], our dining room is closed. Pickup remains available from [start time] to [end time].
Place pickup orders through [ordering method]. Dine-in returns on [month and date].
Write the month and day rather than only 'tomorrow'; an old screenshot can circulate after the holiday.
Confirm the final order time separately from the time the dining room closes.
Use the same dates in both languages. If pickup is unavailable too, say so instead of leaving guests to infer it.
Update the special hours in your Google Business Profile separately. Printing this notice does not change your listing.
Remove the notice when regular hours resume and check the restaurant website and ordering pages for old times.
Which holiday notice should you use?
Use one clear schedule for each location. A restaurant that is open for pickup but closed for dine-in needs both facts in the headline or first two lines. Avoid saying 'open as usual' if the kitchen stops taking orders early. If a reopening date is not confirmed, use the temporary-closure pack instead of inventing a date. For a door sign, keep the date and hours on separate lines; for an online announcement, include the location so a shared post is still understandable.
